Adapting to climate change

The design of the special postage stamp ‘Für den Umweltschutz – Anpassung an den Klimawandel’ (For environmental protection – adapting to climate change) shows an illustration of a fictional city scene that has adapted to climate change. The illustration contrasts with the background, which is printed in bright colours to attract attention and can be understood as a reminder of the urgent need for action on climate protection. The typography, set in the ‘Replica’ font, blends sensitively into the overall composition of the stamp.

The design uses the special colour ‘Pantone 805 C’.
