75 years of NATO

The motif of the special postage stamp “75 Jahre NATO” (75 years of NATO) shows the white NATO logo on a blue background and an abstract arrangement of graphic coloured areas symbolising the flags of the NATO member states. The text in the coloured areas refers to the North Atlantic Treaty. In the preamble to the North Atlantic Treaty, the members pledge themselves to peace, democracy, freedom and the rule of law.

The design uses the special colour “Pantone 280 C” (NATO’s special colour). The typography is set in the font “Akkurat Mono”.
