Desk GERRIT

GERRIT is a desk that adapts to any interior design by focusing on basic forms. It influences the room‘s pre-existing design in an unobtrusive way. The name of desk GERRIT is borrowed from the dutch designer and architect Gerrit Thomas Rietveld, whose works form the experiment to merge fine arts, design and architecture. He became famous through the design of his chair “Rot-Blauer Stuhl”.

The desk GERRIT is characterized by a strict geometry and open structure. The design with square timber, which is manufactured by one wooden board, simplifies industrial manufacturing. This construction is suited for a space saving stocking and transport. The desk top is laminated both-sided with nero-coloured linoleum.
