Ruhr Literature Award

The logo for the Ruhr Literature Award consists of the word “Literaturpreis” (Literature Award), set in a classical Antiqua, the Didot, the word “RUHR” and a date, both set in a Sans Serif, the Gotham Condensed. The date is adjusted annually to the corresponding year.

Vertical lines divide the word “Literaturpreis” into its five syllables. This indicates the characteristics of typeface and language and their sound, which play a decisive role for the Ruhr Award for Literature. The logo may be used in the colours black and white.
